'Person of Interest' Season 3 fall finale: Control revealed, Vigilance returns

"Person of Interest" marked its Season 3 fall finale with the return of Vigilance and the long-anticipated reveal of Control. Following the death of Carter and defeat of HR, the show reminded its central characters that they can't ignore the evils in the world just because they're burnt out on crime fighting. It doesn't take long for old enemies to come calling in episode 11, "Lethe," even though Finch is hesitant to accepting new numbers from the Machine. The person revealed is his old friend from his MIT days, Arthur Claypool, who happens to have drawn the attention of both Vigilance and the government. There's no better time for Control to finally reveal herself (as previously announced guest star Camryn Manheim) than in the aftermath of HR's takedown. Unfortunately for Harold, he discovers too late that Arthur, who is suffering from memory loss after a tumor affected his mind, also created a machine similar... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/12/person-of-interest-season-3-fall-finale-a-second-machine-revealed-in-lethe.html

'Person of Interest' Season 3 fall finale 'Lethe' first look clip: Watch

brightcove.createExperiences(); "Person of Interest" heads into its fall finale with Tuesday's (Dec. 17) episode "Lethe." Following the death of Carter, the team has to regroup and prepare for a new threat from Vigilance while also responding to the numbers punched out by the Machine. The above Zap2it exclusive clip from episode 11 "Lethe" teases the growing partnership between Root (Amy Acker) and Finch (Michael Emerson). Root asks Finch to bring her a book, "False Gods: Pseudepigrapha in the Modern Age," and reprimands him for taking recent stresses out on "her" -- i.e. the Machine -- by "ignoring her." Here it's Root who gives Finch the new number, and tells him that they need to work together. It seems pretty clear that the Machine is prepping for an onslaught, but Finch doesn't seem to have the easiest time coming to terms with seeing Root as an ally. Whether she is exactly what she says she... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/12/person-of-interest-season-3-fall-finale-lethe-first-look-clip-watch.html

'Person of Interest' Season 3: With Carter dead, justice comes to Simmons

"Person of Interest" said goodbye to one of its own in last week's "The Crossing," and no one on the CBS drama was going to take that death lying down. But the person who finally took Simmons' life as revenge surprisingly wasn't the person who brought the HR member to justice, and wasn't even someone we expected. "The Devil's Share" was a lovely way to send Carter off as the characters on "Person of Interest" all wrestled with her death. From Finch and Reese to Fusco and Elias, the many people whose lives Carter touched remembered her with a respect that caused them to not compromise who they are. For Fusco, that meant arresting Simmons instead of killing him. For Reese, he didn't kill Quinn. For Elias -- admittedly not the most stand-up of men -- he had one of his men kill Simmons because he liked Carter quite a bit. From the opening montage... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/11/person-of-interest-season-3-with-carter-dead-justice-comes-to-simmons-in-the-devils-share.html

'Person of Interest' exclusive: The hunt is on for Simmons

The characters on "Person of Interest" are out for blood after the death of Carter in "The Crossing." Reese, Fusco and even Finch want revenge against Simmons in the Nov. 26 episode, "The Devil's Share." But they aren't the only ones out for the rogue police officer. In an exclusive first look at the new episode, courtesy of Zap2it, a newspaper reveals that the NYPD is after the ever-elusive HR member as well. According to CBS, the newspaper will feature a big role in the upcoming episode. In the above featurette about "The Devil's Share," "Person of Interest" co-showrunner Jonathan Nolan discusses the way Carter's death will affect the team. He says this will be the first time viewers will see a true rift between the surviving team members. "Loss is never easy in our show, certainly not easy for these characters. They're going to find their way back together," he says. "Which of... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/11/person-of-interest-season-3-first-look-the-hunt-is-on-for-simmons-in-the-devils-share.html
