Does the fact that it hits so close to home a good thing or a bad thing? I guess time will tell. In the mean time, I am enjoying watching this crew get over on Skynet (if you are hip to the reference).

Great show! Great acting! Great story! Funny, action-packed, dramatic, suspenseful, and intelligent. A show that doesn't treat me like I'm stupid with over-explanatory dialogue.

Both a Crime of the Week (CotW) show and an evolving SF worldbuilding story arc, the show is a lot of fun.

I enjoy the tech, but my computer professional husband finds it cringe-worthy, both in what it hand waves and in what it ignores. Don't look to this one for realism in surveillance technology, to say nothing of AI.

Having said that, it does address some good, hard SF concepts and take on some very relevant questions about our society, about the government, about the slippery slope we have gone down in the name of 'security', even when it is shifting the threat to the more fantastical.

Every season the setting shifts, the players change, and the stakes just get higher and higher. Sooner or later they're going to have to resolve this, but until we get there, hang on, it's going to be a wild ride.

Person of Interest started out great. But just like a lot of other series (read Prison Break, Lost) it should have stopped after the 1st or 2nd season. BUT, it did regain my interest in S4. Finch stays are very admirable person and it's great to see him struggle with ethical questions. Great actor as he is.
I do fear however that the writers might not be courageous enough to give the series a proper ending. I hope it goes out after S4... More

I do fear however that the writers might not be courageous enough to give the series a proper ending. I hope it goes out after S4 or S5 with a bang. Honestly I don't see this happening (especially seen the plot at the moment)!
