Having completed his mission for Russell (Denis O'Hare), Franklin (James Frain) asks Tara (Rutina Wesley) to be his vampire bride, something she's terrified of. After trying to kill herself just a few weeks ago, Tara's going to be running away from death this week. Also, Alcide (Joe Manganiello) and Sookie (Anna Paquin) seek out help for dealing with the other werewolves.
Meanwhile back in Bon Temps, things are nowhere near normal. Sam (Sam Trammell) runs into all sorts of trouble with his reunited family, Jason (Ryan Kwanten) meets a mysterious hot chick while on patrol, and Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) becomes closer to his mother's orderly.
