Fast National ratings for Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009
Despite facing relatively light competition Thursday, CBS' ratings were off a bit from last week -- but the network still led the night by a wide margin.
The Eye's full night of regular programming drew 14.6 million viewers and an 8.9 rating/15 share in households, more than doubling the 6.9 million and 4.3/7 for second-place NBC. FOX (5.4 million, 3.5/6) came in third, followed by ABC (3.7 million, 2.7/4) and The CW (1.9 million, 1.2/2).
CBS also won the adults 18-49 demographic with a 3.6 rating. NBC took second with a 2.6. FOX's 1.5 was good enough for third. ABC averaged 1.0 and The CW 0.8.
