By the Numbers: CBS and Dancing Dominate Tuesday Night

What was popular on TV last night?

Pretty much everything on CBS; NCIS returned with 17.7 million viewers, The Mentalist premiered with 15.55 million, (though here at SideReel we found it rather dull) and Without a Trace returned on a new night with 11.38 million users (which though a good number was considerably down from what the show got in its Thursday night slot in years past).

Over on ABC, Dancing with the Stars continues to dominate, with 18.2 million viewers (and how many times is this show on a week, exactly?).

House and Fringe were both down in viewers for Fox this Tuesday, as were Privileged and 90210 on The CW (by the way, 90210 has gotten a full season renewal, but I am starting to get worried for Privileged).

On NBC, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit premiered with 9.5 million viewers, down 21% from last year.
