House: Laurie Gets a Hefty Raise

Hugh Laurie may play a curmudgeon on House, but he has a lot to celebrate in real life.

His salary has been bumped to $400,000 an episode, or over $9 million dollars a year.

With this raise, Laurie joins the esteemed list of TV's highest paid actors, including William Peterson (until he leaves CSI) and Kiefer Sutherland (swoon).

He's most certainly worthy, though my mind is still blown when I see these outrageous Hollywood salaries!

he is valuable.. although i think its more of a pr thing.. i mean generally speaking you would think hugh was one of the highest paid actors.. and when the first list came out.. he wasnt.. its just like wtf moment.. although.. hes good.. and i would dish out the money if i was the producer.. and lets hope he doesnt get too greedy and loose his skills.. money corrupts

Hes worth it but why so much many family in America struggle to make ends meat. that money could help.. so what if he only gets 3-5 million a year thats still enough to live the "lifestyle".. but i do love house and hugh hes great and is one of my faves.
