America's Best Dance Crew Judge Shane Sparks Posts Bail, Claims Innocence

On Friday we reported that America's Best Dance Crew judge and So You Think You Can Dance choreographer Shane Sparks had been arrested on eight charges of child molestation and was jailed pending payment of $590,000 bail. On Saturday night Sparks posted bail and was released. While Sparks has remained silent regarding the situation, his lawyer has come forward proclaiming his clients innocence and saying that Sparks is the victim of the situation.

Sparks attorney, Steve Meister told E! News that "Shane Sparks is innocent, he knows it and soon the world will know it. We are going to fight this tooth and nail." The attorney claims the charges against Sparks have no merit and that they "reek of opportunism and exploitation."

There is still no word on how these accusations will affect Sparks' status on America's Best Dance Crew or So You Think You Can Dance. Neither MTV or FOX have made a statement regarding Sparks' arrest. His lawyer says that Sparks' number one priority is clearing his name and proving his innocence, and that he is confident he will be able to do so.
