Review: The Office - The Banker Season 6, Episode 14

After being gone for six weeks, and teased by the no good louts at the NBC publicity department that we were getting a "new Office," we get handed a clip show. Not cool.

And... and... when was the last time you saw a sitcom do a clip show, anyway? Friends, maybe? I thought in this new era of "creativity" in the sitcom world clip shows were more mocked than embraced.

Ok, ok. Enough bitching on my part. I guess this will be the shortest Office review ever, because there wasn't all that much new material to talk about.

In the grand scheme of things, is this episode really going to matter in the storyline of Dunder-Mifflin getting sold? I certainly hope so, because otherwise this will feel like even more of a throwaway than it did upon first viewing.

I thinK the episode tries to remember Dunder Mifflin DAYS, I mean they are no longer to be in that company, they are going to be bought for its distribution. So i think THIS EPISODE IS LIKE A GOODBYE OF ALL THAT GOOD DAYS SCRANTON OFFICE PASSED AS A DUNDER MIFFLIN BRANCH.
i CACTHED THE MEANING OF THIS EPISODE, AND IF YOU ARE A TRULY FAN I THINK THE BANKER IS GONNA BRING YOU TO TEARS =)

Being a true fan doesn't mean gulping down any crock of ol' sh*t that the sitcom will hand you, you can still be critical. I've been following the Office since it's UK origins, always been a fan but I have to say that this is by far the WORST EPISODE EVER. The quality of the show has been going downhill since season 4 but even though there has been the occasional moment of hilarity this is a new and depressing low. Is this the beginning of the end for the Office? I hope not, but probably.
