AirTran Airways gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "love is in the air" as it gives tickets to The Bachelor's Molly Malaney to explore her new romance with season 13 love searcher Jason Mesnick.
Molly Malaney, a resident of Milwaukee, was one of the 25 bachelorettes who competed for single dad Jason Mesnick's heart on The Bachelor. She became a runner up after Mesnick decided to pick and propose to Melissa Rycroft. However, Mesnick broke up with Rycroft during the "After the Final Rose" special in order to be with Malaney.
Many are against their relationship, but the people at AirTran Airways are backing up The Bachelor couple. Reinforcing its "Go. There's Nothing Stopping You." mantra, the company is providing airline tickets to Milwaukee residents and most recently, Molly Malaney. The tickets, which were delivered to Malaney along with roses, a hallmark of the show, will be used for Malaney to visit her boyfriend Mesnick through AirTran Airways' direct service from Milwaukee to his hometown of Seattle.
"AirTran Airways believes high fares shouldn't stop people from being together," said Tad Hutcheson, vice president of marketing and sales, AirTran Airways. "Our low fares and extensive service make it easy and affordable for Milwaukeeans to visit friends, family and business associates across the country. We wish Jason and Molly well as they explore their budding romance."
The airline, which offers coast-to-coast flights, has recently announced a number of new routes which will increase service in Milwaukee by more than 55 percent. When service fully expands in June, AirTran Airways will offer 33 daily departures from General Mitchell International Airport to 19 nonstop destinations.
Meanwhile, Molly Malaney and Jason Mesnick's relationship is seemingly going strong. Mesnick even wrote in his MySpace blog that "Molly and I are in love and extremely happy together."
