
From the wild world of Twitter comes the new CBS comedy $#*! My Dad Says, based on the popular twit-feed from Justin Halpern and his gloriously grumpy, infinitely quotable father. It's certainly an interesting experiment - a sitcom based on an internet meme - and yes it makes for an intriguing show genesis, but the pilot episode falls flat on its revolutionary face. Before I take you through this review I have to say, having watched the original pilot this past summer, this debut episode is stronger and tighter than its predecessor. The re-casting of the son, now played by Jonathan Sadowski (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) did a lot to help the show, and many of the jokes are now, noticeably, better. But it's still not good.
