Ryan Devlin to Star in Sh-- My Dad Says

Sh-- My Dad Says has found its son in Ryan Devlin.

The actor has joined the CBS pilot, which is based on the Twitter account of 29-year-old Justin Halpern, as the son to William Shatner's titular dad, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Halpern, who co-wrote the pilot, launched his Twitter account in August to document the random and sometimes profane comments that he says come out of his 73-year-old father's mouth. The account currently has more than 1.2 million followers.

A former host of ET on MTV and Rock the Cradle, Devlin, 29, currently recurs on Cougar Town.

Oh, I kinda love him. He's adorable in Weather Girl - this cute indie rom-com that no one saw except a handful of freaks like me ;p I can't wait to see this show - hope they don't ruin it with cheesy comedy. I follow Sh-- My Dad Says on Twitter and it's hilarious, but if they're not careful with the adaptation, it could fall flat. I'm hoping it'll be just as hilarious, if not more tho. If only to keep this guy on my TV screen lol.
