ABC shortens 'Forgotten' run

From THR:

In case you were planning to watch "The Forgotten" in three weeks - well, forget about it.

ABC is cutting short the crime procedural, ending its run a couple episodes early.

The network is yanking the March 23 episode of the Christian Slater drama and designating next week's episode the season finale instead. The March 16 episode was previously replaced by a FlashForward clip show. (And, yes, these actions, along with the show's generally poor ratings, means the show is pretty unlikely to return).

I like The Forgotten. That's two shows now that Slater has been on that I've really liked and they pulled them so quickly. Annoying.

that stinks.....it was a good show and something a little different. Flashforward doesnt have half the heart of The Forgotten. Another bad decision by tv execs. For every one they get right, they must get 10 wrong. Sometimes it really bums me out.

This is similar to the time NBC pulled The Black Donnell's off the air - although it only made it to a few or so episodes. I really wish that these networks would keep good shows going. Imagine if they had gotten rid of Law & Order in its first few years like they were thinking of doing.

I am so sick of these think they know the people's likes and dislikes when determining what shows to cancel. They keep "force feeding" reality shows and pitifully written teen oriented shows trying to latch on to the "younger" generation's approval. All this does is eliminate the really great shows that people from the ages of 30-50 rely on when trying to watch something with actual substance and moral integrity.Another FAIL by the execs...

ABC showed two new episodes of the show last night, neither of which are up on here, i'm not sure where they fit in the chronology but before episode 15 for sure. Was hoping someone knew how many extra episodes ABC has of this show lying around so I could catch them all.
