Desperate Housewives Goes Mad Again

Cheers to Desperate Housewives for revisiting the intersection of Wisteria Lane and Madison Avenue.

Mark Moses, who terrorized Housewives as psycho killer Paul Young from 2004-2007, moved back in last night as the new tenant in Susan's house. His threatening presence, along with the promising additions of Vanessa Williams (as Lynette's longtime frenemy) and Brian Austin Green (as Bree's studly handyman), bodes well for the new season. During his Housewives hiatus, of course, Moses created the indelible character of Mad Men's Herman "Duck" Phillips, most recently seen unsuccessfully trying to woo Peggy over to his imaginary ad agency - not to mention defecate on Don Draper's office couch.

But Moses isn't the only actor who's gone back and forth between these stylized shows: When AMC's Emmy-winning drama debuted in summer 2007, John Slattery was in the midst of his ABC arc as pol Victor Lang, a love interest for Gaby (Eva Longoria Parker). More recently, Sam Page has shuttled between roles as Bree's corporate conqueror and Joan's cuckolded doctor hubby, while Kevin Rahm has established double occupancy as Wisteria Lane's resident real-estate agent and Don's slimy Madison Avenue rival.

Who do you think should cross over between Desperate Housewives and Mad Men next? Jon Hamm? January Jones? Or maybe Kathryn Joosten could play Don's new secretary?
