With the barrage of actors, rappers, and athletes slated to appear on the upcoming season of Entourage, some are floating the idea of having Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao make a cameo on the HBO series. Star Jeremy Piven and executive producer Mark Wahlberg, after all, both admit to being big fans of the so-called best pound for pound fighter in the world.
"He is just one of these warriors that comes around once in a lifetime," said Piven, who played Ari on Entourage following the boxer's stunning win against British Ricky Hatton last May. "And as a fighter he seems to get stronger and stronger as the rounds go on, and to me he's like my muse. I use him as an example if I'm feeling like I don't have it. I think about Manny Pacquiao, and I go and feel it."
Wahlberg is reportedly an even bigger fan of Pacman, often seen at the Wild Card gym where Pacquiao trains.
If ever a Pacquiao cameo pushes through, he won't be the first boxer to appear on Entourage. In its first season. Vincent (Adrian Grenier) and the boys attended the Vitali Klitschko vs. Corrie Sanders fight.
