* XXI Olympic Winter Games (8/7c NBC)'''

The team of Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo go for China's first-ever gold medal in the pairs figure skating final tonight, having won the bronze in two previous Olympics. While their toughest competition should come from German and Russian pairs, a couple of up-and-coming U.S. pairs could be interesting. Caydee Denney and Jeremy Barrett, together for only 18 months, surprised many by winning the U.S. Nationals last month, while Barrett's girlfriend, Amanda Evora, with partner Mark Ladwig, took second and the other Olympic berth. Also on the ice, the U.S. goes for its third straight gold in speedskating's 500m, with Tucker Fredericks a long shot to follow Casey FitzRandolph (2002) and Joey Cheek (2006) to the top of the podium. Seth Wescott, the 2006 winner in the inaugural snowboard cross, is back to try for his second straight gold. Daytime events feature what looks to be America's best-ever cross-country team, featuring World Championship silver medalist Kikkan Randall in the women's 10km.

* The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love (8/7c ABC)

So, should Gia, Tenley or Vienna write a thank-you note to Ali? One of them is in the Caribbean island St. Lucia tonight only because Ali, a likely semifinalist, chose her job over Jake last week. Nonetheless, romance fans know the drill from here: island frolicking (on a "pirate" ship this time) and wine-infused candlelight dining, followed (or not) by "fantasy suite" nights before the two finalists emerge. Then there's next week's "Women Tell All' interlude, followed by the finals on March 8.

* Glenn Martin, DDS (8:30/7:30c Nickelodeon)

Washington, D.C., serves as the perfect backdrop for this President's Day episode. The Martins head to the nation's capital because of Courtney's entry in an essay contest. Initially, Glenn's upset that his daughter's essay on the person she admires the most is not about him, but he happily gains Courtney's respect after President Obama praises him for helping him out with a dental emergency. However, because he's Glenn, he then does something to ruin Courtney's newfound admiration of him.

* Greek (10/9c ABC Family)

When an attractive young politician (Sam Page of Mad Men) visits campus, Casey happily volunteers to help him with a voter-registration campaign. Soon Casey starts thinking about grown-up things like a possible career in politics, while Cappie chooses not to contemplate life after graduation. Meanwhile, Rusty prepares to appear on the cover of Engineering Weekly, but then he starts to question some recent choices he's made.

* Damages (10/9c FX)

Joe Tobin certainly clicked over into the "villain" category last week. Not to mention the "sucker" category: Does Joe really think that Winstone has his interests at heart? And the two of them couldn't even get Danielle (Madchen Amick) out of the country, so you can expect her to become a player, once she recovers from her concussion. But tonight, Joe has a decision to make while Patty gets her first crack at grilling Louis Tobin. Oh, and expect to learn more about Tom Shayes' death.
