Spartacus: Blood and Sand continues to surprise me week after week. It's slowly crept up to the top of my list as a must watch show and one that I've found myself recommending to anyone who asks me what they should be watching. "Party Favors" is another great episode that brings together a lot of story lines and does a great job of setting up the finale. After a year of plotting, Batiatus and Lucretia's opportunity to join the "upper crust" of Roman society is upon them. But have their machinations been for nothing? Meanwhile, Spartacus and Varro are as confident as ever after an impressive victory.
