Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains - "I'm Not a Good Villain" Review

The Rob vs. Russell showdown has certainly made for a fascinating aspect of this extremely entertaining season of Survivor. And this week it built to a boiling point in another solid episode - albeit one that couldn't live up to the jaw-dropping events of last week.

So let's get it out of the way Boston Rob, NO!!!!!!! Sigh. It's not like I didn't see it coming (hell, Rob saw it coming), but I'm still bummed. The other day, I was talking to my fellow Survivor fans and IGNers, Rich George and Dan Iverson and I reiterated my belief that neither Rob or Russell had a chance of actually winning this season, but that all I really wanted was for Rob to outlast Russell. Alas, it was not to be...

Look, I absolutely love Rob, and I have found myself really disliking Russell this season, but there is no denying Russell is a powerful and skillful player. Much like we can sit at home and watch Parvati so obviously flirt and wonder how anyone can fall for it, Russell clearly has an "it" factor that enables him to successfully manipulate others (not everyone of course but enough people), who should know better, and that can't be denied.
