Friday's Numbers: TSCC, Dollhouse Drop Again - Featured

I have a feeling some SciFi Friday viewers were off watching Watchmen last night.

That, or they have just given up on Dollhouse and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles entirely.

Both shows dropped in viewers for the fourth straight week! TSCC received 3 million viewers (down 17%) and Dollhouse (aptly with an episode titled "Gray Hour") was down a tenth with 3.5 million viewers.

TSCC especially, your days are likely numbered...

i have to say, "grey hour" was my favorite episode of dollhouse so far. which, granted, is not saying *that* much, but still. i just hope they continue to develop storylines that, uh, play to eliza dushku's range as an actress.
i heard that starting with episode 6 they'll start to really get into the mythology of the show, although it's hard to say how much of a chance fox is going to give the series.

They need to pick it up on both shows. I've seen SCC from the first season and it was more interesting then. Now with the "THREE DOTS" stuff I was getting annoyed by the episodes. We need terminators hunting & killing innocent people with the danger or impossible odds. I thought the first episode this season was great with Cameron chasing John Connor out of a glitch. That would be a good direction to go with.
Dollhouse.....I have no clue where they're going with that show. I like Joss Whedon and I'm feeling that is the only reason I'm watching it. I didnt give Firefly a chance and I liked it after the film Serenity. Dollhouse needs something to WOW viewers. Hopefully the film WATCHMEN took SCIFI & COMIC nerds away from the TV & next week they'll watch the shows.

the problem with terminator is that there happens so few things in an episode lately they just keep on nagging about boring stuff but ultimatly nothing interesting really happens. Ok granted rilley died but so what she isn't that important and frankly she was just slowing the show down. they should do something more with cameron and get some more damn action in the show.
and for dollhouse keep it up people will soon learn to like it the show just needs some more time to develop but sofar no complaints from me

I really hope Dollhouse doesn't get cancelled. I'm really enjoying the mix of sci fi, action and mystery.
The problem with thinking about canceling a show so soon after it's debut is that it give the show no chance to find its feet. Not everyone is as obsessed with telly as the people who frequent sidereel. A show needs time to make a name for itself and build up a fan base. Not everything has to be an instant huge success.

I'm really liking Dollhouse, each episode gets better and better, not to mention I really want to know who Alpha is?? Anyone else? Oh and if the FBI detective gets a hold on Echo.

Given the amount of publicity chucked at Watchmen i would guess alot of the usual TSCC crowd were probably out watching it and recorded the show.

dollhouse is a good show, I hope they get enough time to develop what they are trying to do, people should give this one a chance.

i have really gotten into dollhouse, i think its mostly because of eliza dushku, i just think she is cool lol. but the show to me is interesting, has anyone seen Dark angel? to me this show kinda reminds me of a mix between dark angel alias and the pretender ha ha maybe i am the only one. anyway heres to crossing fingers hoping Dollhouse makes the cut!

I am a SciFi fan, but never cared about SCC....I jus tdon't know, could never get into it--I think the lead actress just doesn't do it for me.....But I do really like Dollhouse, at this point, it pretty interesting...want to know why the FBI guy is looking for Echo (Caroline). and about Alpha (what's up with him?)

Hopefully it was the Watchmen who destroyed the ratings! Dollhouse is improving greatly as we get deeper into the story. And please can the FOX network stop talking about it's cancellation when there has only been four episodes....at least give it time to breathe!
TSCC has lost it for me. I thought this season was going to be exploring Cameron and John's relationship and liked the idea of that but it's just wandering around plotlines like 'three dots' and that whole Riley thing is just taking to long to make an impact. It better produce the goods coming towards the end of the season or I won't care if it gets cancelled. And I am a HUGE Terminator fan who is looking forward to the new movie with great anticipation.

With TSCC people just need to think up some new ideas instead of draining life completely from good ones.
Dollhouse is no doubt cheesy and Eliza Dushku isn't too great in anything.. Joss needs to get over her and use someone else who can maybe give the show some depth...She'll always be that Missy character from Bring It On, even when she was Faith.. but she's fun and there IS worse.. And it's the cheese I love.. and also, OF COURSE we're all watching because its Joss Whedon... if his name wasn't attached this show woulda been canceled already.

I enjoy both thoroughly, the only thing about Dollhouse is, I want to see the FBI agent fail.
I'm not saying I don't want echo to escape or whatever they are gonna do with her, I just don't want to see the agent succeed, although I do think killing him off would make things worse, I'm thinking just have him fail again and again continually... Not sure why I dislike him so.

Given what has been said TSCC should get more exciting towards the end of the season the back few episodes seem to be geared up for some action. Certainly there was more John and Cameron in this weeks episode and it was more exciting to watch.
Dollhouse well you got to give it time you can't talk about cancelling the show soon, thats just jumping the gun without giving it a chance.

WOW.... TSCC
That actually got me this time with the death of Riley by Jesse in this episode. This was exactly what I was looking for with the characters. They also seemed to give Cameron an important role in John's life some how. We know she'll be there in the future but Jesse seems focused on making Cameron seem like the bad guy. Also Derek made a point about Jesse's Judgement Day. She's from another time line so for all we know his actions in the past could have effected the out come of the future. I'm hoping they play along with that develop the relationships and possible betrayals of Jesse on Derek or John.

Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles (TSCC), has always been in my top five favorites. Every episode is outstanding and the acting is flawless. I would truly be disappointed if it was one of the shows to be let go. It wouldn't be the first time. I really hope TSCC doesn't fall into that category, that would definitely sour television for me.
