I didn't think it was possible to hate a group of individuals more than those kids on The Hills. Cut to Jersey Shores where MTV stepped up their ability to find a group of people that managed to be even more disgusting. Well folks, the CW has taken reality television featuring disgusting people to a whole new level with "High Society", a new series debuting Wednesday March 10th at 9:30 PM.

High Society features a group of New York upper east side socialites as they deal with live and love in the big city. At least, that's what I think the CW was trying to go for. It seems like the concept for this show was intended to be a reality version of Gossip Girl. What High Society actually is, is a group of people that I can best describe as a cancer on my very soul.

First you have Tinsley Mortimer. A girl that I have never heard of, but apparently is a NYC socialite that is going through a divorce and has a line of handbags (very original!). The show also features Tinsley's friends and family.

One of the most interesting would have to be Paul, who delighted me with such quotes as:

- "I do what I want, when I want, if you don't like it...peace" (throws beer can out the window of his limo).

- "Give me money!"

- "I will kick that bitches ass...watch me" (Throws drink in a girls face)

Paul dresses like Chuck Bass and acts like a 10 year old girl. The only person more irritating is his nemesis Jules Kirby, who looks like a transvestite and acts like a crack whore.

High Society is one of those shows that I want to never see again, but I will probably not be able to resist the temptation. It's a complete train wreck that you can't help but watch.

You can't judge it just by the promo which was like 30 sec... even though I don't watch these reality shows. I wouldn't start whining about it even before I've seen at least 5 mins of the show haha

I totally agree Max...tv has become so much more ;shock value' than entertainment...case and point High Society and next to come the three girls who went onburglar spree just to get attention.I thought it might be sumin like Gossip Girl,but the reality of socialites and drunkies dont add up to penned drama.I refuse to watch this mess, purely for reason of samity and just the fact that these people are fake and disrespectful...especially Jules.I had to hold myself from ending this piece of crap after she said: "People who are not my friends are; gays, jewish people and blacks." "I have used the N-word and i think people should be able[ok] to say it" "I want to work for UNICEF" Who cares about people like this? Not me. and i hope this show goes the way of the the rubbish bin...It doesn't even deserve to be thrown on the editing floor. So i def will not be watching.

I just watched it and I dont actually hate the show, my problem is that the CW let go of shows like The Game, Reaper and Everybody hates Chris to make space for it.... I kind of feel bad for the Tinsley person, I've only seen her once before this show and I kinda got the impression that she was one of those rare breed of Non Paris Hiltonesque kinda socialites but the show gives me a different view. I just think who ever advised her to do this show is not looking out for her best interest really. It's also funny the way they always film random people at the events (like the celeb stylist) talking about Tinsley I mean seriously how convenient its so obvious they popped the camera in their faces and were like 'could you just read that line.' I'll probably watch it again you've got to give Paul and Jules props for not being ashamed to show the world that thats who they are.
