Dancing with the Stars will pay tribute to Patrick Swayze during its Sept. 23 results show.
Swayze, who died Monday after an extended battle with pancreatic cancer, lent a hand to the ABC reality juggernaut during its first season, teaching contestant John O'Hurley a few moves in rehearsal. The Dirty Dancing star also attended the first-season finale to cheer on O'Hurley.
"We have some very fond memories of [him] coming to help us out when we were a tiny little show way back when," Dancing's executive producer Conrad Green told People. "He was one of the few people to integrate dance with being an A-list actor."
Green says that the pro dancers, many of whom Swayze inspired, will do their interpretations of music from Swayze's memorable films.
Will you tune in to see the tribute?
