After a summer of sabotage, high-stakes competition and, yes, lies and betrayal, a jury of seven evicted houseguests crowned the Big Brother 12 champion.
After winning the final head of household competition, Hayden chose to evict Enzo, choosing instead to face off against Lane for the $500,000 grand prize
The final two players were then grilled by the jury about their social gameplay and the secret Brigade alliance. Ultimately, the jurors named Hayden the champion in a 4-3 vote. In a TVGuide.com poll, 52 percent of voters predicted Hayden would win. As the runner-up, Lane won $50,000.
America also awarded Britney $25,000, as she was voted the favorite houseguest of the season.
Despite a slightly less volatile season than years past, ratings for Big Brother 12 have been up from the previous year. CBS renewed the show for a 13th cycle Wednesday.
