For starters, the kid who plays little Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), she has Meredith eyes.
We've already heard much about this time-jumping episode of Grey's Anatomy, and we know that we'll find the root of Bailey's (Chandra Wilson) Nazi ways as well as that of Richard (James Pickens, Jr.) and Ellis. But there's more to this episode of Grey's than a little blast from the past.
Turns out, Derek (Patrick Dempsey) probably wants to show off so he revives the hospital lecture series, where Richard, Bailey, and Callie (Sara Ramirez) all present pivotal and landmark surgical cases in the past. For Bailey that entails reflecting on her first days as a lowly intern under a harsh resident, Callie looks back on a polio case (during a time when she was still interested in men), while the Chief takes us back to a case where he and Mer's mom Ellis worked on a patient diagnosed with GRID, later to be called AIDS.
Aside from the three, we'll also see Joe the bartender during his younger days (check out the hair), as well as Thatcher and Meredith as a child.
