And the answer? No it did not. The second episode hit yet another series low, with just 2 million viewers. More people watched the Stargate Universe premiere over on Syfy.
The winner for the second consecutive Friday night was CBS with the combination of Ghost Whisperer (7.6 million), Medium (7.7 million) and Numb3rs (7.7 million). NBC came in second with new episodes of Law & Order, Dateline and The Jay Leno Show. ABC again opted to air repeats, which was good for a 3rd place finish.
Highlights from Sunday included the debut of new drama Three Rivers on CBS, which premiered to a disappointing 9.2 million viewers. This might not sound like a terrible figure, but it was only good for a 4th place finish for CBS.
NBC won the night with football, followed by Fox's animated comedy block (Family Guy was the most viewed with 9.7 million; The Cleveland Show held fairly strong with 8.7 million viewers) and then ABC, whose Sunday lineup enjoyed small improvements for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters.
