Considering the low success rate of reality TV couples nowadays, it's hard to imagine a happy ending for Molly Malaney and Jason Mesnick, a product of The Bachelor season 13, in which love searcher Jason proposed to Melissa Rycroft and then later dumped her for runner-up Molly. There are a lot of things that could go wrong in their relationship, including the difficulty of sustaining a long distance affair (Jason resides in Seattle and Molly lives in Milwaukee) and dealing with constant public scrutiny. But it seems that the Bachelor couple has surpassed all that. Now, they're even more at home with each others' family.
"My trip to Seattle was, yet again, incredible, but far too quick...we headed straight out for dinner with Jason's mom... one of the kindest women I know. It is obvious why Jason is so incredible after you meet his family. They truly are an amazing group of people," Molly wrote on Jasonsplace.com, Jason's new website for single parents.
Aside from Jason's mom, it appears that Molly is also making a lot of progress with Jason's son, Ty.
"We picked up Ty in the morning then headed back home to play a few innings of T-ball! I must say, Tyler is quite the athlete! I was so glad that I was able to spend more time with him. Ty seems to be getting more acclimated to having me around, which is very comforting," she said.
"The trip was very short, but well worth the travels," she added. "I am beginning to feel very at home in Seattle. Jason's family has embraced me with open arms, and I feel very much a part of Jason and Tyler's life at home."
Meanwhile, fans can check out former Bachelor 13 contestant Jillian Harris as she gets a second chance at love as the new star of The Bachelorette, premiering May 18 at 9/8c on ABC.
