Recap: One Million Billionth of a Millisecond on a Sunday Morning

And here it is...your weekly One Tree Hill recap (spoilers included):

Lucas and Peyton:

Have sex in Vegas. Return to Tree Hill. Peyton packs. Have sex in Tree Hill.

Also, do these two have jobs? They seriously seem to have little regard for them. I get that they're so in love, but how are they paying the bills?

Skillz and Deb:

Have sex. Have a serious, meaningful conversation. More sex.

Brooke:

Recipient of the award for best-makeup of the evening. She looked awful!

Acts sad. Acts vulnerable. Acts sad. Starts firing a gun.

This so isn't going to end well...***

***This entire Brooke-storyline is all too reminiscent for me of the original Beverly Hills 90210. In that, Kelly Taylor (outside of her clothing boutique, no less) was attacked, got a gun and ultimately killed her attacker. See where this is going?

Peyton:

Is a pretty dense friend. Brooke's injuries - particularly the hand prints all over her neck and arms- so clearly did not come from falling down the stairs.

Haley/Nathan/Jamie:

Nathan plays basketball with Q. Haley tutors Q. Q loves learning now! Haley and Jamie make a cape for Q. Why is Q getting so much attention today? Is this a bad omen...?

Nanny Carrie and Dan:

I'm just going to pretend that these scenes were not even in the episode. Especially when Nanny Carrie served Dan the cockroach porridge. *Shudder*

Mouth and Millicent:

MIA for now. But don't worry, they'll be back.

And last but not least...Q:

Poor Quentin. I seriously knew that things were going too well for the kid. All of a sudden he's such a nice, stand-up guy. He even likes school now! Clearly he has to get shot. But maybe he won't die??? Except that he does.

How will the Ravens will any games this season?

So...were you all as shocked as me to see the killing off of Q. Did you care?

I admit, i spoiled so I knew Q was going to die. Yet I still think its unfair on him. I liked him since he punched KFed when he was defending Haley. And now with all the scenes of him and Jamie, it just makes it all that much sadder. I'm thinking next week is gonna make me cry...
I felt like slapping Peyton this whole episode. Your friend has so obviously been attacked... yet you buy the "falling down the stairs" story. Then your badly beaten friend starts talking about how bad things always happen to her... and justice. Hello!? Seriously, either Peyton has lost some of her braincells as a side effect of all the Leyton sex, or she just doesn't care enough. Never mind moving out when your friend needs you more. I think she is way too caught up in her own selfish happiness right now. Which irratates me so much when I think back to all the times Brooke has helped her.
Anyway... rant over. Overall, a good episode and on par with last week. If a little annoying as I don't think the Brooke storyline got the screen time it deserved. Still, worth the wait. Nice review as always RachelL.

Q was a big shocker.. It was a pretty good episode, although the Jamie scenes were getting a little annoying. There's so much going on right now with about 50 different subplots. Gonna be a good season..

Well so far season 6 has been eventful in my opinion. the first to episodes have been like a two punch combo for me, as both episodes have left me saying OMG at the end.
Theres one thing i aint liking and that's the Dan and Nanny Carrie storyline. At this point i'm just finding Carrie annoying and just want to kick her little psyco butt out of tree hill.
Poor Q, well i think more like poor Jamie! It was a total shock for me but then as soon as you see the dead body on the floor of the gas station you kinda think well Q's guna get hurt. But i thought they may just make it so he can't play ball no more not wipe him out. Think this will hit Jamie really hard, hopefully it will as he's getting a little boring bless him. Has anyone else noticed how every 3 seasons they kill someone? Season 3 it was Keith and Jimmy and now Season 6 its Quentin. I can see another death and i reckon it'll be Carrie, what do you think?
Peyton, well i really want to slap Peyton so damn hard. How can she not see that Brooke has been attack? I love Leyton and i'm happy for them but peyton needs to pull her head of her own ass and notice whats going on with her bff; and stop being so self indulgent.
The first to episodes of this season are alot better than the alot of episodes from season 5. Can't wait for the episode Chad Micheal Murray wrote.

I totally agree with everyone on here sayin peyton is being sooo stupid... I mean come on when it was her getting attacked in the past everyone was there to comfort her and cry with her and protect her now that brooke "fell down the stairs" she is all alone with Deb i mean come on even i could write some better drama and i am not a writer.. Well as far as everything else goes Nanny Carrie and Dan scenes are pretty lame in the first episode i was all for it.. like OMG mysterious house in the middle of nowhere but know its just BORING... All in all i am still a HUGE fan..
And does anyway else agree that Shirtless Nathan is wayyy better than this isn't a comeback nathan I do.. :D

I haven't seen the episode yet (I'm about too) but I couldn't wait and wanted to know what happened :PHow could they kill Q?! :( I liked him since he first appeared :(And I agree, the whole Brooke getting attacked thing is too similar to what happened to Kelly on BH 90210.I'll go watch the episode now and maybe later I'll have something more interesting to say(write) :P

Why were nanny crazy and dan alone all the time? There are sooo many people in hospitals. I skipped over those parts cause they were unrealistic and contains some bad acting.

I was super bummed that Q had to die... I was really getting to like him, and he was such a good role model for Jamie. As for Peyton, sadly enough, I am pretty sure more people than we think would act in a similar fashion. She is so happy that she finally has the man of her dreams after so much, that she isn't thinking clearly and noticing more than she should. We all say that we would know, but the sad reality is that most of us wouldn't notice. I feel terrible for Brooke and I hope that things get better for her, but as we all know things will most likely get much worse before better in Tree Hill.
LC-FAn to answer your question, if you didn't watch the last episode you missed that they aren't in a real hospital, they are in her house.

God do I agree on everything you just said. The sex between Peyton & Lucas didn't bother me as much as the five thousand marriage proposals in one episode. I mean how many times did he have to ask her for God's sake? As far as Peyton being completely oblivious to what's going on around her and especially Brooke's injuries go? How blonde can you get? I mean, honestly, how do you get two black eyes and finger-print-bruises around your neck from falling down some stairs? Did she fall on two punches and strangling hands? And how nice to pay so much attention to Q and make him seem so sweet, have him develop a wonderful relationship with Jamie and then kill him at the end of the episode. Lovely people....just great...

i love your reviews.
as for peyton and lucas i think they are wayy too caught up in it. and all peyton has to do is clear her head and look at what is going on with brooke
as for brooke i hope she wont get TOO caught up in revenge
Q was amazin i didnt want him to die mainly for jamie...and of course in that episode they had to tell what he wanted to do with his future and how hes getting an a+ and that he is liking school now.If you think about it haley might be effected alot by his death because she was suppose to be with him at that time but she called it off. =[ <--any thougths on this?i am deff. gunna cry next week i almost cried just watching the promo

@ LC-FAn Are you serious haha, it's in Carries house, not the hospital lol. Just realized it's been answered but anyway... I think Q deserved a more significant hero's death maybe taking down Carrie and saving Jamie (which appears to happen every episode, I'd hate a kid that accident/vengeance prone).
Poor Q, one of my favorite characters even when he was cocky and arrogant. Oh well, I only just watched it now, so promo time for me!

Oh ew! Season 6 is just NOT going for me!Okay, Ill admit I watched the first episode...cos there's nothing like PEYTON & LUCAS!!But Brooke's psycho Mum is really uneventful. & Deb & Skills = same old, same old.Q was a little out of the storyline tho...don't you think? And good god, Haley/Nathan/Jamie...they're the boring old couple living at the end of the street.
:/I lvoed Seasons 1-5 tho!! Much more drama about LOVE and the friendships thingy. Not more of dealing with crazy people.

I think the show really grasps the concept of growing up. Life isn't all fun and games, it dies down but One Tree Hill still provides drama in circumstances that you normally wouldn't find it such as settling down with children.
Life in Tree Hill will never be uneventful.

Oh and doesn't this Nanny Carrie and Dan deal sound a lot like Kathy Bates being the psycho nurse to that poor bloke of a writer in "Misery"?...LOL

Muttsy... How can you possibly like 1 to 5 and not 6? Emphasis on the 5 here. Brookes storyline is SO eventful... she got attacked! Your obviously entitled to your opinion but I just don't get it. Five was the worst season ever for me... It completely lacked everything the other seasons had (especially towards the latter end of the season) and at times I found it hard to watch (what with all the whining and the feeling sorry for themselves). I look at five now as the stepping stone needed to get to six... which is a much better season (imo).
