This episode of Castle was really fun (as usual), until we learned that the killer was connected with the murder of Beckett's mother. Then things got intense really fast. And she nearly had the whole thing wrapped up in the palm of her hand, until ... she didn't. But maybe she's a little closer to solving that murder.
Everyone's going Irish these days (nod to Sons of Anarchy), and now Castle's gotten into the swing of it, too. Only they managed to bring together a murdered Irish mobster, a local turf war, a late-night infomercial guru, an international drug smuggling operation, and the murder of Beckett's mother ten years earlier. That's a lot to pack into a one-hour show; less than that once you subtract all the commercials.
