Possibility of 'Twilight' Spin-Offs Tossed In

When all four of Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" series have been brought to the big screen, there is a possibility that spin-offs will be developed out of the series. The speculation was broken out by Radar Online after having a chat with two of the vampire saga's producers, Wyck Godfrey and Greg Mooradian, at the 36th Annual Vision Awards in Beverly Hills late last month.

Teasing what to expect after the last film of the series,"The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn", comes out, they suggested that they are entirely open to the idea of spin-offs. "Stay tuned. I think if our movies do as well as the first did all possibilities are out there," they were quoted as saying. "But right now we need to finish what we have and finish Stephenie's vision as best we can and then let's see where the audience demands us to go from there."

The first "Twilight" has hit theaters in November 2008 and launched a tween mania over its cast, especially its leading man Robert Pattinson. Its sequel "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" has wrapped up its filming earlier and is awaiting a November 20, 2009 U.S. release. Before "New Moon" opens in theaters, third film of the series "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" will start its production in August for Summer 2010 release.
