I personally think this is a sign of the coming apocalypse, but Kevin James' Paul Blart: Mall Cop was this weekend's Box Office winner with $33.8 million. This figure exceeded all expectations for the film.
Clint Eastwood's Gran Torino slid into 2nd place and grossed another $22.2 million dollars. This brings the film's total to $73.2 million.
Other Top Performers:
My Bloody Valentine 3-D - $21.9 million
Notorious (2009) - $21.5 million
Hotel For Dogs - $17.7 million
Overall, the Box Office was up 28% from the same weekend last year, so if Paul Blart is helping our economy, guess I won't complain...
