By now, every decent Bones fans know that Bones (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) will be hopping to bed on the Fox procedural's May 14 season finale, but if Deschanel is to be asked, it's about time.
"It's been four years, it's been something everyone has been waiting for some time," she said.
Deschanel adds that the question of the finale romp is the single most commonly asked question "either by people on the street or by people interviewing me, so it's nice to tell people it's happening." She cautioned Bones viewers, however, that while the jig is up regarding the hook-up, the manner by which the deed is done will still be "surprising."
On the next episode of Bones, in fact, Brennan will already ask Booth to be the father of her child.
Elsewhere, the team is on the case when human remains are found inside a barrel of wine during a wine tasting. When the victim turns out to be a wine critic whose scathing reviews were capable of sending a vineyard to its ruin, everyone from the winery's owner to the victim's own wife becomes a suspect.
Still on the May 7 episode, Stewie Griffin from hit animated series Family Guy will be dropping by Bones. The notorious baby with the English accent will reportedly make an appearance in Booth's dream sequence after the big asking to be Bones' baby daddy.
"If you're going to see a hallucination, it might as well -- it could be a cartoon as easily as it could be another human being," Deschanel said. "I think it's done very well. I was excited to have Stewie join our cast for an episode."
