By the Numbers: Loser Gains, as does Scrubs

Wondering how Tuesday night's programming fared in the ratings?

Apparently NBC's The Biggest Loser still holds weight (Biggest Loser article pun count = 2), as the premiere of Biggest Loser: Couples was the show's largest ever with 11.82 million viewers, a whopping 50% gain from last season's premiere.

NCIS continues to dominate (guess it really is time I start watching this one) as last night's outing had an impressive 19.07 million viewers - the series' second largest ever.

Speaking of domination, The Mentalist had a whopping 19.56 million viewers.

However, the numbers I was personally most invested in were those for the ABC premiere of Scrubs. Thus, I am happy to report that the show averaged 6.7 million viewers across the 2 episodes that aired. This number doesn't sound huge, but it actually is a 25% gain from the last episode that aired on NBC.

CW dramas 90210 and Privileged were both down slightly from previous airings.

I'm a huge NCIS fan but I can't believe how popular it is. Other than my girlfriend I am yet to encounter anyone else who watches it. Than again it is my guilty pleasure show, which I never admit to watching. I guess that's what 19 million other people do.
