Tonight we find out if V can really live up to our expectations. After a well-received pilot, the show is moving on to its second episode entitled "There Is No Normal Anymore," which teaches us a couple of things in terms of surviving an alien invasion. Unfortunately, nearly all the characters will defy these lessons.
Lesson 1: Do not trust anyone.
Going into the second episode, we now know that the Vs are everywhere--- they've actually been lurking into our society even before huge alien ships hovered over the world's major cities. Erica (Elizabeth Mitchell) appears to have learned her lesson in last week's premiere when she found out that her partner Dale (Alan Tudyk) is in fact a reptile masquerading as a human but Father Jack (Joel Gretsch) has yet to learn this lesson and it looks like he'll be learning it the hard way when he goes to the FBI to give some info on a murder case.
Lesson 2: Stick together.
Since things didn't turn out as planned when Georgie rounded up a small group of rebels in attempt to protect humans against the invasion in last week's episode, Georgie tries to convince Father Jack that they should stick together. However, this plan hits a snag when Father Jack finds himself being tracked by a "Seeker" from the Vs.
Lesson 3: Don't get involved with a V.
Tyler (Logan Huffman) never runs out of ways to defy his mother Erica--- which proves to be beneficial to the V's plan. And thanks to his attraction to Lisa (Laura Vandervoort), he's now more engrossed in the Visitors' Young Ambassadors program, making him the perfect target. Meanwhile, Valerie Stevens (Lourdes Benedicto) has yet to find out that her fiance Ryan (Morris Chestnut) is not what he appears to be.
