Law & Order: CI Pushed Back to 2009

Law & Order: Criminal Intent was set to premiere on USA Network next Friday, November 5th, but it has abruptly been delayed until sometime in the first quarter of 2009.

A spokesperson from the show has stated that, "based on the overall TV landscape and in this economy, it made sense to maximize the value" of the program, which means holding off now and airing the show's 16 new episodes in an uninterrupted run in early 2009.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news to you CI fans.

Awww.....2009. I was up at 9pm on Friday to watch CI and turned out I watched House MD instead. What a sad notion that this economy is sooooo sucky that even TELEVISION PRODUCERS need to cut back and wait to make a better profit.
It still sucks that I can't watch CI so BOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't get me wrong I am greatly saddened by such a thing, but an uninterrupted season will be better for ratings and it will prevent me (and others I'm sure) from going crazy when they would have originally had the break in the season.
