Last week on The Biggest Loser, Mandi sacrificed herself for Aubrey. Tonight's episode picks up right where we left off, in the elimination room. Alison Sweeny announces that she's asked the Black Team to join them all . We're told to expect the unexpected. Mandi is not the only one going home tonight. All of them are going home for the week and they're to come back for the next weigh-in. Filipe and Sione are stoked to see their families. Alison warns that their families and friends will be a distraction and they will be entering a world of temptation. The Black team didn't do well with temptation so this will be hard for them. Maybe their lessons with the reward challenge will give them the heads up on their home stays.
We join Aubrey first in Boise, Idaho. Then Laura in Miami, Florida. Tara's greeted by a huge group in Long Island, New York. Filipe and Sione goes back to Phoenix, Arizona. Helen's greeted by her family in Minnesota. Mike and Ron go home to Detroit, Michigan. Green Bay, Wisconson is where we see Cathy and Kristin.
Tara's brother and mother are shocked with all the weight she's lost. Aubrey, who's lost 49 pounds, greets her overweight father and her husband, Justin. Laura, who has lost 58 pounds, greets a large group of family and friends. Helen has lost a total of 68 pounds. Sione has lost a total of 95 pounds. Filipe has lost 91 pounds, coming in just behind his cousin. Their families are adorable. Cathy has lost 51 pounds while her daughter Kristin has lost 97 pounds. Ron has lost 93 pounds, while his son Mike has lost a total of 110 pounds. Mike's family is overwhelmed with emotion because they've never seen him like that. Mike hopes to influence his brother Max, who is not the only big guy in their family.
The contestants receive a gift on their doorstep. The tin is filled with giant sugar cookies with a DVD on top. On the DVD, Alison Sweeny tells them to not lose focus. This week's challenge is to run a half marathon, which is 13.1 miles. Also, the tin with the 13 cookies is part of the challenge. With every cookie they eat, they can ad five minutes onto any player's time. The person with the best time gets $10,000. Tara realizes that she's the biggest threat and so do all the other contestants. Aubrey points out that Sione and Helen are also threats. Kristen takes out the cookies and just says Tara. Tara. Tara. Sione decides to eat no cookies because the show, for him, is about life changes. Aubrey and Kristin are definitely going to eat the cookies for time punishments. Ron, Cathy, Laura, and Tara decide not to eat any. Helen definitely does.
