Audrina Patridge Leaves 'The Hills'

After five seasons on MTV's reality series "The Hills" Audrina Patridge is leaving to take on new television endeavors.

Audrina has signed on to star in a new series from producer Mark Burnett that will center on her personal and professional life, says The Hollywood Reporter.

"We are truly pleased to have the chance to work with Audrina," Burnett tells The Hollywood Reporter. "She has already proved her star quality, and we can't wait to show her fans worldwide the next stage of her life and career."

Audrina's announcement to leave the show comes shortly after "Hills" star Lauren Conrad announced her own departure, and as of now the fate of the show is unknown.

"We cannot confirm a sixth season at this time," a spokesperson for MTV tells THR. "However, 'The Hills' will continue as long as there are stories to tell, and as of now we don't see an end in sight."

Audrina and Burnett will begin pitching their currently untitled show to networks starting next week.
