Not that good!

It really wasn't that good of a pilot.

It looked too much like The Office .. and after this show I'd rather waste my time watching The Office.

Let's just say this was not 'time well wasted'.

It's almost seems like they took the Michael Scott character from The Office and spliced into a few different characters with the inappropriate too touchy person, to the idiotic kind of makes you wonder how they got a job like this person ..

I don't see this show being on the air for too long, specially if the office is still on.

The only good thing about this show is Rashida Jones and the annoying Aziz Ansari.

Yeah, I agree. I remember a part of the show when Amy (Leslie?) was talking about the guy she worked with and she said grinning, "We had sex." It was exactly how Michael said it, in the same way, when he talked about Jan.
Some parts were funny though, when the Aziz character tried to hit on Rashida and Amy fell into the pit.

Completely agree. A pilot should give viewers a good idea of what to expect. As this is supposed to be a sit com it was completely lame. The only reason The Office works is because so many people relate to it. Finding people to relate to this show will be hard. This episode only offered me two meager giggles, and I expect full out laughs from a sit com. I will not be watching this show.

I agree as well.
It's a shame, because I really wanted to like this show. I guess asking for another Office was getting a little too greedy on my part. Amy was doing a great job of channeling Michael Scott last night, but as much as I like his character, I was kind of hoping for a new angle. It was as if the writers pulled out an Office mad-lib and picked a few new nouns. It's a little insulting to their target audience, really.
Anyway, despite the harsh review, I won't write 'Parks & Recreation' off just yet. Some really great shows have had mediocre pilots [Of course I can't think of any right now, but I'm sure there are some... maybe]. If they pull off a fresh angle, all will be forgiven. If not... well, I'll probably spend that time doing something more productive than sitting in front of the TV. Oh well.

I like Amy, Rashida, and Aziz, and I HATE this show.
Actually, I think I now like Amy a little less because of it because I'm so tired of watching her not being funny that I find her kind of annoying now.
Rashida is wasting her time on the show; her bland role could be played by any female. Aziz just ocasionally says sabotaging unfunny things.
I think the show is really terrible. No interesting characters or relationships, no one has anything to do or says anything funny...it's all boring filler.
