I don't know about anyone else, but I'm tired of nay-sayers who clearly don't know as much about the plot of heroes as they think they do writing about how much this season sucks. I think this season is great.
The idea of losing powers is great, because it allows for great character development. The idea of a conflicting Sylar, with people trying to manipulate him, and his battle with himself, also great character developments. Claire trying to learn to fight, and NOT being as helpless and whiny as previous seasons as other people try to say, is also great character development.
There is also plenty of action in this season, plenty of exciting, fast-paced sequences that draw me even more into the series,
In my opinion Season 1 was awesome, Season 2 was less awesome, but still pretty awesome all the same. Then the writers' strike happened. And we were left to think about heroes for a tough 8 months or so. All most people talked about was how season 2 was not the same as season 1, did not have the same brilliance. Well season 1 was great because of the balance of character deveopment and action, in season 2, not enough action while they tried to push too many new characters from too many different locations, resulting in too much character development, in characters that we really didnt want it in.
But this season is different than season 2, great character development mised with great action once again, my only small complaint isa that maybe a little more suspense is warranted.
The reason I think that this season is heavily criticized is because of that eight month wait, we were thinking of the greatness of season one and we were building it up for 8 months, it's tough for the writers to compare to this idea of an awesome season 1 that was built up for so long. I think that what we need to do is everyone go back and watch the show from the start. From season 1, and you will hopefully see what I'm talking about
