Suck it up

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm tired of nay-sayers who clearly don't know as much about the plot of heroes as they think they do writing about how much this season sucks. I think this season is great.

The idea of losing powers is great, because it allows for great character development. The idea of a conflicting Sylar, with people trying to manipulate him, and his battle with himself, also great character developments. Claire trying to learn to fight, and NOT being as helpless and whiny as previous seasons as other people try to say, is also great character development.

There is also plenty of action in this season, plenty of exciting, fast-paced sequences that draw me even more into the series,

In my opinion Season 1 was awesome, Season 2 was less awesome, but still pretty awesome all the same. Then the writers' strike happened. And we were left to think about heroes for a tough 8 months or so. All most people talked about was how season 2 was not the same as season 1, did not have the same brilliance. Well season 1 was great because of the balance of character deveopment and action, in season 2, not enough action while they tried to push too many new characters from too many different locations, resulting in too much character development, in characters that we really didnt want it in.

But this season is different than season 2, great character development mised with great action once again, my only small complaint isa that maybe a little more suspense is warranted.

The reason I think that this season is heavily criticized is because of that eight month wait, we were thinking of the greatness of season one and we were building it up for 8 months, it's tough for the writers to compare to this idea of an awesome season 1 that was built up for so long. I think that what we need to do is everyone go back and watch the show from the start. From season 1, and you will hopefully see what I'm talking about

I agree with you completely! This season is great! The people who comment on how they don't like Heroes Season 3 are those who probably don't even watch it! They're just joining the "hate crew". Heroes Season 3 just keeps getting better and better!

And I respect anyone who doesn't think we should all have the same opinion on something. Meaning I don't respect a single person here.
Honestly, until you people can accept the fact that different people have different opinions, I'm not going to take this seriously. 'Cause that's the only thing I'm taking away from this discussion.
I've also been a fan of Heroes from the very beginning, but even I can see that it's going downhill. And just because you guys are in denial and willfully blind to that, doesn't mean everybody else should be.

Congratulations on posting one of the most ridiculous statements I've ever read on this site. Seriously, give yourself a pat on the back.

... Case and point ...
I agree with you tim915. Yeah, you can't expect this season to be as great as season 1, but it's still pretty stellar. People are upset and like "Yeah, it sucks that Peter lost his powers and that Claire is not as innocent." Well, that's what creates the conflict! If you liked the conflict you wouldn't want it to be resolved. It sucks while it's going on, but that's the point!

Its a good statement, hes saying there to busy missing the key plot to even watch it properly to busy nit picking to realise its so flippin clever, and leading to something even bigger. I hope.

Hey magicpuppy and Adam2050 your children will probably never go to University (College) , want to know why? you've got no faith man if it wasn't for these post these talks these f'n complaints then shows would never survive its not just up to the fans to keep a show going there are produces and all those big shots pulling the strings, but without the millions of people ready for some more a show would never survive.
And if you have children and there in University (College) then there probably doing the teachers, and watching heroes at the same time.
Seriously theirs so many great shows out there gone to waste because of C'nts like you, WTF man if someone falls over and brakes there leg you don't cal them an idiot and say they should have watched were they were going, No you help them up and help them recover, and thats what every fan should be doing helping heroes recover, have faith in this show, have faith in the world.? (Lol)
Oh and magicpuppy and adam2050 Go $%^& yourself.

How do shows go to waste because I really like heroes series 3, you even reading the same page? How would me watching any show effect it when I watch them on here, were the worst kinda junky waiting for the next episode and not even being a statistic. I agree with Tim its a great series.

Magicpuppy, I'm sorry but you're in contradiction with your own self in your post... Indeed, in the first place, you preach for freedom of speach and thoughts: "And I respect anyone who doesn't think we should all have the same opinion on something." And I agree with that, even though I think that this season of Heroes is awesome
But then, you say: "I've also been a fan of Heroes from the very beginning, but even I can see that it's going downhill. And just because you guys are in denial and willfully blind to that, doesn't mean everybody else should be. And just because you guys are in denial and willfully blind to that, doesn't mean everybody else should be."It doesn't sound so much like someone who respects people who think that we can have diverging point of view on matters anymore... Saying that we're "in denial" and "blind" because we're enjoying this season shows that you proclaim that Heroes 3rd season is just crap and that anyone who doesn't share your opinion is essentially retarded...a discourse completely different to the one you were giving earlier.
Anyway, I agree with you tim915! I love this new season of Heroes and everything that goes with it. The plot, the characters, the mise-en-scene...brilliant!

I personally enjoy the lengths to which Heroes has gone to tie up all of the story lines of the first season into this wonderfully done third season. This, to be honest, is the first season I've watched which I am literally on the edge of my computer chair waiting for someone at Sidereel to post the episode until 3 in the morning when I get tired of waiting and I end up staying up all night tossing and turning waiting for the next episode.

;)

when will we get a proper hero / villian fight i've been waiting 3 seasons to see peter and sylar really properly rip into each other with all powers on display if the writers put this into the show i really don't think that any1 could complain that its going downhill personally i really like heroes and this series has offered a new angle on most characters seeing how they are when they are powerless is a very clever thing to have done
but i still want to see peter and sylar in the middle of nowhere hammering all holy hell out of each other and as neither could die(obviously when peters powers return) the fight would be awe inspiringlightening, fire, teleporting, invisilibillity, turning things to gold etc... the outcome of the fight would not really matter but the fight would be ace......... proper ace
