So I'm usually not the type of person who feels the need to broadcast her opinions online lol - but the latest double episode has provoked me to speak.
Personally, I think that the writers have made a mistake.
I think the only good move was making sure that Betty and Henry didn't get back together.
Betty should have fought hard for her place at the new york times - so that if she didn't get the job she wanted she got a place as a recurring free-lance writer or something so that she is still forced to work at mode, thereby allowing the cast to stay together
Additionally, she and her hot, thoughtful, soo soo nice and rich boyf should NOT have broken-up. They should have moved in together, or at least stayed together but been like "maybe we should slow things down, you know figure things out" or "i still like you in fact i'm in love withe you, but i think that maybe we should see other people for a while because i need some time" there is such dramatic potenial with a relationship on the rocks.
What the writers don't seem to understand is that Betty's character needs to develope herself and that by simply starting her at the same place every season as an audience we start to find it hard to take her seriously. I mean she barely apologised to the boyf when he confronted her. She isn't or at least should be the type of character that just lets everything happen to her.
Well that what I think - thoughts? x
