Arthur was WAAAAAYYYY too powerful bout time he kicked the bucket. I mean seriously the fact that he could find Hiro in the past and take everything is proof enough.... plus if he could do that then he could have just found Claire in the future himself... what the hell does he pay Flint and that other guy for when he can poof wherever the hell he wants and grab you and go... he doesn't even have to move a muscle except maybe wave his hand.

Also they didn't need a gun when all the Haitian had to do was melt Arthur's mind but I guess Sylar needed the answers. Sylar should have taken Arthur's powers first before killing him however the heck he was able to do it before using his magic on Elle... why did he kill her again? And why didn't he take the Haitian's powers in his moment of weakness.

Yes I know if everything happened the way it should have or the way I wanted it the show just wouldn't work, I'm just sayin' what's with the Heroes being serious screw-ups sometimes and the Mystical "Light" oooooohhh aaaaahh doesn't help the evolution of man thing. I guess the catalyst is gone forever now and Hiro killed his Mom for nothing, he swore to protect it and failed a few mins later.

Oh and haha random hero Sue Landers dead in 5 minutes so the writers could throw in a way for Sylar to have a lie detector.

I don't really know if he seriously kicked the bucket, however. He had Adam's power of regeneration and it has already been proven on numerous occasions throughout the show that the only way to kill even Sylar, with that power, is to "bludgen" the back of the brain stem.
This is why Angela Petrelli said "Remember, you have to shoot him in the back of the head." However, he was shot in the front of the head. Do we assume that he is dead or do we question it?

good point because the Haitians power did apparently run out and it's not always on and I wonder who Sylar's parents were... and why did Adam die when Arthur took his powers... Peter didn't die when Arthur took his healing powers, unless Arthur can kill too if he wants.

adam died because without his powers he would be like 500 years old so his body wouldnt be able to take the strain anymore, thats why peter didnt die.i dont think that is the last we've seen of arthur...the "not shooting him in the back of the head theory" is as good a theory as any...especially cos sylar and claire were both able to heal again after they got their powers back after the eclipse, even thought they were both 'dead'
