This last season was so horribly written that I am almost losing interest. They have start stories 5 times that i have counted this season and the next episode pretended that it never happened. 1. Peter from future causing a butterfly effect but next episode it is completely undone. 2. Peter meeting Sylar in the future and getting his powers, completely undone the next episodes. 3. Sylar being a good guy in the future and actually being decent in the present...completely undone. 4. Claire nearly joining the Dark side due to not feeling, completely undone. 5. Nathan refusing to be the bad guy, then being the crazy bad guy, then not being the bad guy but the good guy joining the bad guys because of the way they do business.
I can see why the writers got fired. This damn thing isn't going anywhere.

actually you are completely wrong roboticeye all of those were explained.....what happens in the future gets changed by what is done in the present when they go back to it....for example the future peter was killed therefore he's not causing the butterfly effect anymore in the present....Claire was only on the bad side in the future because in the "original present" she was taken by Flint and the fear guy into pinehearst, however Peter knowing this does everything he can with present Claire to change this (remember they never get her) so therefore claire is going down a different path now...and this is biggest proof of why you are wrong and should follow the show more closely like spade2211 says...In the future when you see peter with the scar on his face he obviously has powers, now in the present as of yet he does not have powers anymore and also since future peter died present peter will be different from that one and he may or may not get his powers back but who knows because that future shown in the beginning of this season is not the same future that will happen now because once again things that happen in the present after knowledge of the future will change that future

About that scar... how the heck does he get it anyways I thought in season 1 or 2 or something he got it because of the explosion but he still exploded and there was no scar, not only that but he has healing powers so how does he get scars anyways. I kinda feel the same way as roboticeye about it all except I don't think it was horribly written, the plot holes just make you think... just go along with it for now in the season finale EVERYTHING will come back together in a serious mind-boggling explosion.

Well he doesn't have any powers atm, he could get the scar now before he gets them back, I don't think healing powers would heal something like a scar as it has alreayd healed.
And he isn't going to have healing powers anymore, Future Peter doesn't so that means when Claire goes bad ass she'll have the Haitian on her side that won't let Peter get Claire's power.
And to roboticeye, that future is 4 years in the future, got plenty of time to explain how things get that way. I admit there are holes in the story, I've noticed numerous. And Nathan has just become the bad guy, he's not evil or anything he's just on the other side to Peter now. And everyone knows that the show is Peter's show.
To Shadohw, no it was never said he got the scar from the bomb, why would he. The reason he exploded was because of a power. The nuclear power comes off you, not from inside. The explosion wouldn't hurt him in anyway. But you are right that the finale will bring everything together, just like season 1.

Im Sure If Peter Gets The Scar It Will Be When He Doesn't Have Any Powers So He Will Heal Like A Normal Human Being Receiving A Scar. I Do See A Lot Of Plot Holes....Like Hiro Was Suppose To Be This Bad Ass With A Sword And Shit But Now He's Not (And Before You Give Me An Explanation Know His Father Taught Him Earlier In The Season So There Is No Reason He Shouldn't Still Be A Bad Ass) Also Peter Not Having His Powers Sucks No One Cares About People With Know Powers On A Show About Heroes LOL Only Ando Can Suffice Because It Seems Like He's Gonna Receive Powers Now...Nathan Is A Bitch....Plus Sylar Is The Best Villain Not Aurthur He Never Even Killed Anyone Unnecessarily Like A Crazy Bad Guy Suppose To LOL.... I Just Don't Know About This Show...Nathans A Good Bad Guy,Peter Is A Hero With No Powers,Hiro Hangin Off A Pole 16 Years In The Past, Claire Doesn't Have The Catalyst Any More (So She's Not Important Enough To Stay In The Show Now),Sylar Is A Crazy Bad Guy Again With No Agenda, And Why Doesn't Hiro Stop Time When He's In A Rut Instead He Just Sit There And Not Blink

I agree that this season has been not the best, but it has been still great! I am sick and tired of hearing people complain like little 5 year-olds just because they don't understand the story and haven't bothered watching previous seasons, or are just plain idiots. You have to watch every episode to understand this kind of show. If you don't, then there is no point watching season 3.
Lots of confusion going on, and I am going to clear it up. 3 main things have pissed people off: Peter acquiring Sylar's power and becoming a psycho, then Arthut taking Peter's powers away, and Sylar becoming a good guy.
First of all, Peter needed Sylar's power to understand the variables to save the world, to change history and prevent the future he saw from happening. That was the whole point of Future Peter coming back in time, shooting Nathan to stop him from telling the world about their powers, and then placing Peter in Jesse's body to keep him from interferring. However, when Peter got Sylar's intuitive aptitude power, there was a hunger for more powers, to know more; to have more. Then when Arthur takes his powers away, Peter loses the hunger. However, Arthur did not take Sylar's power from Peter because sylar's power is special. It has to be acquired from Sylar himself. Same with Peter's power of absorbing other people's powers.DONT WORRY! Peter will get his powers back according to the writers. The formula will give him his powers back (remember everyone's blood and DNA have different powers). He will get his original power back and possibly ones he already had.
As for Sylar being good. After he finds out Angela is his mother, he does not regret anymore about not being good enough for his parents (mother who died in season 1 and watchmaker dad). His parents, Chandra Suresh, and Elle are all what caused Sylar to become a killer in the first place. Now that Sylar discovers Angela is his mother, along with Arthur as his father, he can be a good person and prove he's good enough to be their great son who they're proud of. BUT, once he finds out that they are not his real parents (HRG says that in episode 11 right before Hiro teleports sylar and elle to a beach), he is angry and seeks revenge on Arthur and next episode will be revenge on Angela. But before that, he needed to know the truth if he really is not his father. So, he turned to his list of people with powers from Dr. Suresh, and went to Sue Landers (who has the lie detection power). After killing her, remember he says: I forgot how good this feels. So, this implies that he might continue on his hunt for more powers.
Now he's going to have revenge on Angela for pretending to be his mother and using him.

Sylar is now a bad guy BECAUSE he found out that Arthur and Angela are not his real parents. Remember, his real mother and watchmaker father (along with Dr. Suresh) are the reason he became a killer.

Also, Arthur used telepathy to block Hiro's memories. He aslso used telepathy to block Angela's memories as well in episode 8 (Villains). He does NOT have Haitians' power to erase memories because Peter does not have his power. Plus, if Arthur had the Haitian's power he would have blocked the Haitian from using his own power to block Arthur's power when Peter went to kill Arthur (Season 3. Episode 12)
We did learn something, which is that the Haitian doesn't automatically block people's powers, he needs to concentrate. Remember, he started getting tired and then was no longer able to block Arthur's power. Arthur was able to use telekinesis to hit Peter with the gun. But then Sylar came and used telekinesis to stop the bullet, throw the gun out of Peter's hand, use the lie detection power, and then let the bullet go through Arthur's head, while Haitian gained concentration again. So, Arthur should be dead because afterall, the catalyst was destroyed in him as well.
However powers that Peter has already absorbed cannot affect him.Ex: Seeing Claude while he was invisible, moving while Hiro freezed time, and blocking Matt's telepathy.
So, I repeat, Peter DOES NOT HAVE THE HAITIAN'S POWER because the Haitian's power blocked his power in the future when Future Claire started cutting his chest with a knife and he began to bleed and could not teleport out of there. Also the Haitian blocked future Peter's power and thus was killed when Future Claire shot him several times.
Peter absorbs people's powers just by being around them. He does not need to know what they can do. For example: Angela's precognitive dreams, Niki's super strength, DL's phasing, Daphne's super-speed, Claire's healing, and Ted's radioactivity. He didn't know their powers, but he absorbed them and was able to use them when concentrating.
The Haitian does not need to know what their powers are to block them. He blocked Hiro and Daphne's powers at movie theatre to protect the half of the formula he was carrying.
Haitian is loyal to Angela, so that is why he let Nathan fly away in that scene in season 1. Same goes to letting Peter stop the taser from hitting him in season 1. He did not want HRG to capture Peter or Nathan.
He blocked Arthur's power after gaining concentration, which means Arthur should be dead.
