"Outstanding" is the only word which could be used for the incredible romantic drama, Dream Boy. This movie rocks! I am quite excited to watch this movie and want to appreciate everyone who has worked for the movie. Everything about the movie is no doubt amazing, but the plotline comes first in the list.
The movie director of the movie, James Bolton has done extremely well with his cast and has made a movie which is loved and being appreciated by everyone. I personally think that it had been ages since when I saw any movie like this.
Dream Boy moves in late 1970s. It basically deals with the life of Nathan (Stephen Bender) who is a gay teenager. He was sexually abused by his father for long time. But when his family along with him, moves to a rural town of Louisiana, soon he falls in love with his schoolmate and neighbor Roy (Max Roeg). When both of them were on a camping with some narrow-minded friends, both of them come to realize their feelings for each other. Later on, Nathan is brutally raped and thrashed by one of the older boys. The most interesting thing about the movie is its end as it is left for the audiences to interpret whether Nathan is alive or not at the same time as Roy accepts Nathan as his lover and elopes into the woods with him.
