Im Confused....

Ok this to me felt a lot more like a series finally than a season finally. I mean everything was tie up from luke and peyton having thier child to nathan going to the nba to brooke and her mom reconciling and her confessing her love for juilan to milli staying in tree hill with mouth. There was no cliff hanger as per usual with OTH finally's. Since there is going to be a season 7 what is the deal with Luke and Peyton? There was nothing to suggest that there are going anywhere and now it wouldn't even make sense i mean they are all about tree hill now when the new episode starts what are they gonna do just say oh they moved away? it doesn't make sense. Seems to me they should have just ended everything with this episode.

I was happy to see Karen and Whitey. I hope they appear at least once in series 7

I completely agree with you. This episode would have been a very good series finale. They should have decided to stop it when they learned that Murray and Burton were leaving the show. Now it's not gonna be the same. I'm not even sure I'm gonna keep watching because the end I saw last night was the perfect end for me.

I so totally agree... For me it was the perfect ending to the show, (with the exception of them not bringing back Jake Jigelski... lol!) Lucas and Peyton having a baby and Peyton living. Brooke with her Mom and Julian. Nathan getting into the NBA. Dan's whole thing with Whitey, the fact that they brought back Whitey and Karen... I mean the only thing better would be to have Keith back!! I think they should have let it end at this season, there was no cliff hanger which makes me wonder if CMM and HB are really leaving... or if it's still hanging in the balance so they left it open to see what happens over the next few months... We'll all just have to wait and see what happens. But I have to say having Karen bring Sawyer in to see Peyton made me bawl my eyes out....

i agree as well... it did feel like and it was a series finale and if it was it would have been a pretty good one... i am confused about peyton and lucas..i expected something to happen in the end that would show why they will not be in it next season but there was nothing.. the only explanation i can think of is that this was a dream!! everything was a bit too good to be true and they kept talking about dreams..i guess we will find out next season if we kept on watching it...

IMO they probably thought this was going to be a series finale as they were unsure of being picked up before late season. I also think it kindof leaves us with an everything is good and well type of vibe to the end of a show. But now at least they have a clean slate for the 7th season to actually do something interesting, kindof like they did with the whole 4 years into the future thing. If they can be creative and come up with a good excuse for Peyton and Luke not being there, I think this show's got the chops to make it for another few seasons.

This episode felt like a season finale, it wrapped up all the storylines and gave all of the characters a happy ending. I would have liked to see Sam back with Brooke but apart from that it was a perfect series finale all the storylines were wrapped up and all the characters given happy endings except for Dan. I can't see how they could continue with another season after that without it feeling forced.

4.
For once, the writers just gave everyone what they wanted...to see nathan reach the NBA finally...Brooke and Julian together, Victoria repent and give Brooke back the company, Leyton and the baby live happily ever after...EVERYTHING was 'perfect'.
And...the more i think about it, the more i wonder...could all of it really be real? i think maybe one of the characters...probably peyton, was dreaming it while lying on the floor bleeding...and next season...its all gonna be untrue...i mean...it is OTH...if everything is perfect now...what are they going to do for an entire season??

It was a PERFECT way to finish a series!!! BUT i would've wanted Brooke to have a child of her own...if it was a season finale...but it wasn't soo there's time for that! I wanted skills to be in the episode!

I really don't know what's gonna happen in the next season!

They def should have ended with this season. Now OTH is just going to drag. I think the 7th season will be really disappointing.

I completely agree. After seeing the end of the season I have to ask myself if chad and hilary are actually leaving, because if they are I dont see how they are going to be left out with this ending... I kept expecting them to die all through the last episode... If they do go tho, I'm ignoring all seasons after this one as for me this ending is better than whatever they can do without them.

It would indeed be a perfect serie's ending. And I think it is one actually. I also think this too perfect episode is what Peyton is dreaming about, dying in her hospital bed. First of all, two strange scenes didn't make sense at all during this episode. You can see Luke with the baby alone in a dark room, no sign of Peyton, and in another scene Nathan is drinking next to Rivercourt. So...this could be the only two real scenes of the episode. I mean, Murray and Burton are to depart, and they are certainly not making them move away or making up some poor excuse for their absence next season. This episode might be some kind of alternative end, for the fans, who like to see it end all well, and who are not to watch next season without Murray and Burton. I'm pretty sure next season will begin with Peyt's funerals. This time, no cliffhanger, just a great shock for the beginning of the 7th season. That would be real genius. I mean, it's not really funny when it all ends well, is it? After all, I myself wouldn't watch it if I wasn't expecting everything to go wrong and bad through the show...

I actually hope this was the series' finale. It was perfect. All is well and they even brought Whitey back. The only person missing was Skills, which I thought was sad, but other than that everything is great.
I'd much rather have the sries end now than to have another season without Lucas and Peyton and new characters instead. The dynamic of the show would be shot to bits and that's just not right.
I'm gonna remember the show with a soft spot in my heart just the way it ended this year. Maybe I won't even watch another season, so as not to ruin the picture in my head.

I think the only way to make this Lucas' and Peyton's last episode would be to do another flash forward a few years. Maybe another four. As otherwise it just won't work. They cannot just 'disappear'. Say this was the series finale, it was a great one. I really do think another flash forward is the only way to go.

Just seen this episode. We're behind in the UK and couldn't be bothered waiting for it to air any longer. My word this definitely should have been the series finale. Everything was perfect and if felt like watching the whole journey from season 1 was so worth it. It really was a masterful end. I'm actually really disappointed that the show has continued, it just seems that whatever they do next will just destroy everything this finale accomplished. I don't even want to know how they explained away peyton and lucas' sudden absence. It just won't be convincing. I'm really struggling to decide whether to carry on watching the show, cause on the one had this was a perfect end and I don't want it to be tainted, but on the other hand, you just want to see what happens because of curiosity. I think for now I'm gunna stop and just be very happy with that ending.
