I think Stella is the mother, I think when Ted finally goes out with Stella he tell his kids that (thats your mother), but I saw this a long time ago so I might be wrong.

Stella wasn't at the party where the mother was supposedly at was she? I doubt Stella is the mother and I don't think we'll see her character for much longer. Also wouldn't the kids realise that Stella was their mother if her name was mentioned? Does anybody else think it would be funny if it turns out they were adopted? :P
