Former 24 star Mido Hamada has joined Fox's Terra Nova, Entertainment Weekly reports.
Produced by Steven Spielberg and headlined by Jason O'Mara, the time-traveling drama revolves around humans from 2149 who travel to prehistoric Earth, where a new colony, Terra Nova, has been built. Hamada will play Guzman, a security head who serves as an advisor to Frank Taylor (Stephen Lang), the first settler of Terra Nova.
Filming will begin next month in Australia. Fox will preview the pilot in May before launching the first season next fall.
