HBO has renewed sophomore comedies Bored to Death and Eastbound & Down, Deadline reports.
The pickups come in the midst of both series' Season 2 runs.
Bored to Death, starring Jason Schwartzman as a bumbling detective, drew 1 million viewers for its most recent episode. Eastbound & Down, about the misadventures of a former major league baseball player played by Danny McBride, attracted 1.44 million.
