As I watched the first scene in tonight’s episode I thought how so nice it is to see Booth in a happy relationship. He’s trying so hard to be a good boyfriend and it makes me wonder if his efforts come from things going wrong with Parker’s mother. Because I gotta say, if Booth was anything like he is now, then that woman made a huge mistake not marrying him when he asked.
It’s hard not to feel a little bad for Bones though. Yes Brennan made the choice to not be with him but now that he’s in love with someone else, it has to be a little hard on her. I love that she’s trying to do the logical thing and be a good friend to them both. Sure we all want her to be catty and act jealous but this is Bones we’re talking about here and that’s not like her at all. Plus now that she’s saved Hannah’s life, the two of them are becoming friends. Do I smell lots more angst to come because of it? Oh yes, I do.
