Christine O'Donnell Regrets Witch Ad, Compliments David Spade (video)

Christine O'Donnell Compliments David Spade on 'Tonight Show'

Though Christine O'Donnell lost the Delaware Senate seat in last week's midterm elections, she happily discussed the various controversial issues that came up during her campaign when she visited 'The Tonight Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC).

O'Donnell regrets the infamous witch ad. "I feel like the whole message got lost. The purpose in that ad was supposed to put it all behind me." But she added that seeing the 'Saturday Night Live' skit mocking the ad was "probably the first time I laughed at a 'Saturday Night Live' skit since he left," motioning to fellow late-night guest David Spade beside her.

Jay Leno then asked her to explain the whole anti-masturbation thing. "For me, that was more of a ministry opportunity than a political statement." Leno responded: "So it's not so bad now?" She refused to comment.
