Celebs often tell outlandhish stories on late-night television, but funnyman Dick Van Dyke's latest tale may take the cake.
On last week's Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, the Mary Poppins and Diagnosis Murder staractor told the host he used to surf and was once saved from the middle of the ocean by porpoises.
"I went out once and fell asleep on that board ... and I woke up out of sight of land," he said. "I looked around and I started paddling with the swells and I start seeing fins swimming around me, and I thought, 'I'm dead.' They turned out to be porpoises. They pushed me all the way to shore. I'm not kidding."
