CHASE “The Longest Night” Review

Chase Season 1 Episode 8 - The Longest Night

In this episode I liked how Annie started building up a relationship with one of her previous captures. It’s giving Annie a chance to confront some old demons by talking to a man in prison with a little girl back at home. She gets to talk to him like I’m sure she wants to talk to her daddy and I like where that’s taking her character. I also think Mason is a great character and I have a feeling this means we’ll be seeing more of him.

What I’d like to see is a little more teamwork when it comes to actually catching the bad guys. They do a great job at letting everyone work together throughout the case but when it comes to the actual capture, suddenly it’s the Annie show and she seems to be the only one who knows how to run them down (usually jumping on some sort of a vehicle to do so).

As for the Luke and Daisy thing, I like that Daisy is more okay with the fact that they slept together than he is. Maybe now that they’ve talked about it, that storyline will be dropped for a while. I wouldn’t mind if they picked it up maybe next season but right now is still too soon.
