Star Wars: The Clone Wars - "Nightsisters" Review

I've come to love The Clone Wars but, for the most part, the episodes this past fall were an endurance test, with one political oriented episode after another. But after too many stories about senators, blockades and poisoned school tea, 2011 is getting off to a much stronger start for the series.

Beginning the three-part storyline that will introduce the much-hyped (including, yes, by myself) Savage Opress, "Nightsisters" was a very important episode for Asajj Ventress, who was truly the star here in a way that is rarely the case for a villain on this series. Of course, villain though she may be, Ventress was wronged as well, betrayed by Count Dooku because Darth Sidious demanded it.
