We’re now in the thick of awards season and one important precursor to the February 27 Oscars is the ORANGE BRITISH ACADEMY FILM AWARDS. The 2011 awards ceremony with host Jonathan Ross will broadcast from London’s Royal Opera House on Sunday, February 13 and will once again premiere on the same day in the U. S. exclusively on BBC America.

The 2011 BAFTA nominations have been announced with The King’s Speech leading the pack with 14 nominations, including recognition in both the Outstanding British Film and Best Film categories.
